Survey Russian Ortolan Bunting by GLS 2016

For the National Museum of Natural History French, during the month of May 2016, we are going to the reserve Yamaskaya steppe near the town of Gubkin Russia, to investigate the flyways of Ortolan Bunting (Research program of Frédéric Jiguet).

For the last time, during this third consecutive year (first here, and second here), with Caroline Moussy and Benoit Fontaine, we had one main aim. We had to recovery geolocalisator systems (GLS) that we attached during the previous springs one many males of Ortolan Bunting.

Finally, with five GLS gotten, this mission is a success and provide data to define the eastern migration flyway.
